Back in 1998, I made a page that allowed you to test different colors of text, links and page backgrounds. This was state-of-the-art then. It would remember values you'd set during your time there and everything.
And lucky for you, I somehow kept it all these years...take a look at it here.
Before we get into this, I have to make extra reference to the date here. 1996. That's a long time ago. This was one of my first JavaScript projects, and it allowed you to change the color of the pencil. This was a big deal back then.
See how it warns you that you have to have Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0? This should blow your mind.
